MILLVILLE, N.J. – A 26-year-old Millville man was arrested after allegedly brandishing a firearm during an Easter party at South Delsea Drive Park on Saturday, according to police. Jauwan L. Green faces several charges, including possession of a defaced firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon without a permit, terroristic threats, and engaging in alarming conduct.
Police responded to a 6:54 p.m. report from a caller who said Green had lifted his shirt to reveal a gun in his waistband during the party. The caller also reported that Green fled the scene in a white SUV. Officers located a white SUV on Delsea Drive and conducted a traffic stop. After questioning the driver, later identified as Green, police confirmed his presence at the park and arrested him.
