Chef Leslie Daniel of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City to Compete on "24 in 24"

Atlantic City – Chef Leslie Daniel, the executive chef at Kuro Japanese Steakhouse inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, is gearing up to compete on 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing, premiering on Food Network on April 27. Originally from Georgia, Daniel’s culinary journey began at the age of 19 when he worked at the renowned Katsuya in South Beach, Miami. His skills and network in Miami led him to Atlantic City, where he contributed to the opening of Kuro, first as a sous chef before being named executive chef in 2022. Known for his enthusiasm in the kitchen, Daniel’s energy has earned him the nickname "Chef Too Hype." In addition to his work at Kuro, Daniel is passionate about mentoring local youth through the Atlantic City Boys & Girls Club, and he runs the “Let’s Get Cookin’” fundraiser to support the club’s programs. In 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing, 24 chefs will tackle 24 challenges over 24 hours. Daniel will compete for a $75,000 prize, joining a talented group of chefs such as Stephanie Izard and Marc Murphy. The show premieres on April 27 and will run for five weeks, with the finale airing on May 25.
