Cape May County Park & Zoo to Host Annual Earth Day Celebration

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ – On Saturday, April 26, Cape May County Park & Zoo will cohost the largest Earth Day event in Cape May County, focusing on the theme “Seas the Moment” Protect our Oceans. The event, in partnership with the Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority (MUA), invites the community to join in making this a successful day of fun and education. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate as sponsors or exhibitors, demonstrating their commitment to the environment. Sponsors will be featured on all promotional materials and the event's special edition t-shirt. Exhibitors can set up displays that promote eco-friendly businesses or provide educational content on protecting the Earth. The event will feature hands-on educational exhibits, children’s amusements, live entertainment, and a scavenger hunt. Large tents in the center field will host environmental exhibits, while the Bandstand will offer family-friendly entertainment throughout the day. Vendors, crafters, and a food court will complete the venue. The Earth Day Celebration typically draws around 4,000 visitors. County Commissioner Andrew Bulakowski encouraged local businesses to participate, highlighting the county's ongoing commitment to environmental protection.
