
COURT HOUSE, N.J. – The Cape May County Office of Emergency Management has issued a "Code Blue" advisory for all of Cape May County, effective from 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, to 6 a.m. Thursday, March 27 Code Blue conditions are declared when temperatures drop to 32 degrees Fahrenheit or below. The advisory is aimed at protecting individuals who may be at risk for cold-related exposure, particularly those living outside, in parks, or in poorly insulated settings. Residents in need of temporary shelter are urged to contact their local municipality. Additional resources are available by calling 2-1-1.
